After revealing the track list for his upcoming album Do What Thou Wilt, Ab-Soul returns today with a video for his new song "D.R.U.G.S." As the video's opening sequence reveals, this stands for "Don't Ruin Us God Said." The video is shot in a stark black and white, and finds Ab-Soul wandering around a room full of black balloons. It cuts through a number of trippy scenes, finding Ab confronting shape shifting visuals.

The song is a sobering confrontation of the highs and lows of drug use, including the death of his father and his own struggles with substance abuse. "Adderal Admiral, absolutely give Danny credit," he raps, shouting out his friend and collaborator Danny Brown. "Hennessy in my piss/Can't forget that I'm psychic off my psychedelics/And for the kids looking up to me for I seen/No I don't need any of these things to do anything."

"D.R.U.G.S." will live on Ab's new album Do What Thou Wiltwhich was announced at the beginning of the week and drops on Friday, Dec. 9. It serves as the official follow up to his 2014 album These Days, which was mildly received compared to his much-loved project Control System. Although there's been some back-and-forth about a release date, it looks like Ab is finally getting the push he's been looking for. The album will feature SZA, ScHoolboy Q, Mac Miller, Rhapsody, and more.
