Vince Staples is as funny as he is unfiltered, so it makes perfect sense he’s getting his own radio show.

During an interview with Zane Lowe on Wednesday, the Long Beach rapper announced he will host his own Beats 1 program called “S E A (Section Eight Arthouse) Broadcast System.” An Apple Music press release states the monthly show will be a “pirate radio-style broadcast,” and will include interviews and music selected by Vince.

“I wake up every day to the sounds of questions, the sights of hands reaching constantly. Always taking, never giving,” Vince says in the show’s trailer. “Casually rejecting the things that you say to them. Kind of searching for themselves throughout the things you create.”

The program will debut at 6 p.m. ET this Sunday; following episodes will air on the third Thursday of every month at the same time. You can check out the trailer for “S E A (Section Eight Arthouse) Broadcast System” above.

While you wait for the show's premiere, you can see Vince debate rap's generation gap at the inaugural ComplexCon earlier this month.
