Six juveniles were arrested and the CambridgeSide Galleria mall was evacuated after a disturbance caused a meet-and-greet for Desiigner and Celtics player Jaylen Brown to shut down.

The Cambridge Chronicle reports the event drew over 1,000 people at a local mall in Cambridge, Massachusetts. But it started to get chaotic at around 5:50 p.m., police say, when a large group of people pushed forward and knocked down barriers and other people in line. Officers on the scene tried to break up the crowd, but fans retaliated by throwing glass, bricks, and other objects at them.

In a statement to the Cambridge Chronicle, Jeremy Warnick, communications director for the Cambridge Police Department, said that pepper spray was used "to manage and disperse the crowd inside the mall after the crowds grew more aggressive." No officers were injured on the scene, but people were treated for pepper spray-related injuries.

The juveniles arrested were four males and two females. They were arrested for disorderly conduct, trespassing, and disturbing the peace. Police then ordered CambridgeSide Galleria to close down every store and everyone had to evacuate the building.

Desiigner and Jaylen Brown were supposed to make an appearance at Champs Sports. It is unclear if Desiigner had arrived yet, but Jaylen Brown tweeted an apology to his fans.

Sorry I was not able to make it to @champssports. The police had to shut down the mall before I arrived. I'll try to reschedule it soon. pic.twitter.com/E4nQq4mAP7
