Chance the Rapper is hosting a free concert in his hometown of Chicago to encourage fans and the city's youth to get out and vote.

"I'm throwing a block party/concert/rally/Parade on top of @virginhotelschi all on Monday. Suprise Guest. 18+ #StayWokeAndVote," Chance announced to his followers on Twitter.

The day, which is being dubbed a live show of democracy, will feature performances from fellow Chicago breakout artists including Twin Peaks, Eryn Allen Kane, Malcolm London, Taylor Bennett, and more. There will be more than just performances, though. Chance and his nonprofit arm SocialWorks will actually be leading people to the nearest polling station at 15 W. Washington St. to get young Chicagoans excited to vote in the election.

"This election is very important, a chance for new leaders and new opportunities to emerge," Chance said in a press release. "SocialWorks and I are proud to partner with Virgin Hotels Chicago, Boost Your Voice and The TurboVote Challenge to give everyone a voice in the democratic process and encourage people to vote, both locally and nationally."

Chance has been upping his political involvement throughout the past few months by also offering voter registration at the stops of his Magnificent Coloring World Tour.

It's all going down Monday, Nov. 7 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the roof of the Virgin Hotels Chicago. If you're in Chicago or nearby, check out the full details courtesy of Chance above.
