It's been a busy time for Scorcher lately—and not just in the music game. This year saw the north London MC step out of his comfort zone to take a lead role as "Hoodz" in Femi Oyeniran's British hood flick The Intent. That hasn't kept him out of the booth, though, as he's found time to link up with his old pals from The Movement, Mercston and Ghetts, for a new track entitled "99 Riddim (My Ting)".

Together, the three hop on a nostalgic grime beat, courtesy of Scholar, that nods to classic Ruff Sqwad and the early days of grime. Not only that, but Scorcher's also recruited Donae'O for the b-side, "Paranoid". "I'm really excited to be putting new music out again," he told Complex over email. "When Scholar sent me this beat, it was a real throwback so it made sense to link up The Movement to do it justice. I'm back on my '07 shit, and I can't wait for people to hear the follow-up record with Donae'O."
