After taking a break for almost a month on social media during his rehabilitation, Kid Cudi emerged to send a message to Drake. "Say it to [my] face pussy. You think it's a game,” he wrote. “I wanna see you say it to my face. I'll be out soon. Promise."

It’s just the latest wrinkle in the Drake and Kid Cudi feud, which started when Cudder called Drake out for using ghostwriters and prompted a response by the Toronto rapper on “Two Birds, One Stone.” Now, the next rapper to weigh in on the conversation is Lupe Fiasco, who also has a rocky relationship with Cudi.

Lupe sent some hilarious memes once he saw Cudi’s tweets, and then proceeded to answer his fans on Twitter and shed light on the situation. “It's childish and it's petty. But he deserves all of it & more,” he wrote. “Man fuck that nigga..what part of "rehab" is calling people pussies and asking for fades?! Rehab is checking your own problems not this shit,” he wrote in response to a fan saying he was kicking Cudi when he was down.

On the topic of if Lupe has ever been to rehab, he wrote: “No but When shit got real & suicidal for me I accepted the compassionate solace and therapy of my true friends & I cherish them to this day.”

The bad blood between Lupe and Cudi escalated last year. He detailed what happened between them in an interview with Sway in the Morning, saying that he offered to write verses for his fans and Cudi didn’t exactly approve. "I told my fans, 'Yo, if you want a Lupe verse, I'll write it for you for $500. It'll be yours; you can't put it on Twitter -- it's yours. Don't leak the shit or do whatever; it's yours.' And Cudi went on Twitter and was like, 'Yo, Lupe, what you gonna do with that money?'...I'm thinking he joking."

Lu then caught wind of Cudi’s fans saying “Fuck Lupe” on Twitter. When he tried to reach him by phone, Lupe says Cudi was nowhere to be found.

This backstory, on top of Lupe and Cudi’s exchange (with Azealia Banks involved too) after Kendrick Lamar’s comments on Ferguson, just supports the fact they aren’t cool with each other. But Lupe is willing to forgive and forget if Cudi simply apologizes. “Yup...water under the bridge,” he wrote to a fan.
