UPDATE 6:20 pm EST: When contacted by TMZ, a rep for Roc Nation simply replied "This is ridiculous." It looks like whatever the couple has planned—if anything—will stay a mystery for now.

See below for original story.

Will Jay Z be bringing his LEMONADE response on tour? According to a ticket company, yes. TMZ reports that a ticket agency—which it declined to name—sent out an email to its VIP customers containing this line: "Hear Jay Z's response to Lemonade during his highly anticipated 2017 world tour." It mentions several cities that he would be appearing in as well.

There have been a number of rumors that Jay Z would be releasing an official album response to LEMONADE, or even that it would come in the form of a joint album with Beyoncé. The Carters aren't exactly known for leaks, so all reports surrounding them should be viewed with a skeptical eye, but it falls in line with the rumors that have been swirling ever since LEMONADE dropped.

Back in May, a report from Page Six claimed inside information that a joint project between Jay and Bey had finished recording and was on its way soon. “Jay and Beyoncé were never going to do an interview to address all the questions that came up after ‘Lemonade.’ It’s more their style to respond through music," a source said at the time. It's been about four months since then without any new info, although "soon" isn't exactly a concrete date. It also went along with a previous US Weekly report that Jay Z's new album would be a response to LEMONADE in some capacity, with several publications claiming that the couple actually developed the storyline together as part of a long-term marketing scheme.

We haven't seen any evidence that this is coming true yet, but the consistent rumors surrounding the supposed project—and now, tour as well—would seem to indicate that something is in the works. For now, we'll just have to wait and see.
