Despite an ongoing ankle injury, Drake's Summer Sixteen tour invaded Chicago on Wednesday night in a major way. Earlier in the day, Drake announced that the injury would force him to postpone three upcoming shows, but it didn't slow him down in the Windy City, as he made a very special announcement about his upcoming endeavors. "I've been working on new music in the studio every night," Drake told the crowd as they went nuts.

Interestingly enough, Drake's announcement came just hours after he revealed on his Instagram that Boi-1da, Vinylz, Murda Beatz, 40, and Nineteen85 had just sent him a massive beat pack. The group of super-producers all had some fun with the post and quickly reshared on thier pages without fully revealing what they're working on. Of course, Drake potentially has a number of projects in the works, including collab albums with Gucci Mane and Kanye West, which have been announced, but further details have yet to be revealed. Most thought Drake would take a break from making new music after releasing Views earlier this year, but it now looks like he has no plans to slow down anytime soon. You can watch Drake's announcement above.
