Last May, Zane Lowe played 6LACK's "PRBLMS" on his Beats 1 radio show and today, the Atlanta singer/songwriter comes through with the video premiere for the track.

The throbbing, melodic R&B track arrived as a break up anthem about the freedom that comes with being over someone, and the visual is the perfect accompaniment to that sentiment.

"'PRBLMS' mirrors my current life," 6LACK told Complex over email. "I wanted to let people know exactly where I am. It's a huge transitional period for me right now. I'm free, and am getting ready to release the first body of work that best reflects who I am and where I am in my life. The 'PRBLMS' video represents a fresh start in every realm."

Of course, 6LACK's fresh start is likely also referring to his past in the music industry. If you're not familiar, he signed a record deal all the way back in July 2011, but things didn't work out as he and the label disagreed about the music he wanted to make and record. Freedom from that label allowed him to connect with the LoveRenaissance (LVRN) crew who you might recognize as the name behind Atlanta's own Raury. In fact, if you were at Raury's 2015 Raurfest, you definitely heard 6LACK's set as Raury ushered in leaders of the new Atlanta on his lineup.

Now, things are aligning for 6LACK who has been dubbed Apple Music New Artist of the Week and has his debut project, FREE 6LACK, on the way, which you can pre-order right here on iTunes before it drops Nov. 25. As we wait for new music, watch the premiere of 6LACK's incredible "PRBLMS" video above.

This @6LACK PRBLMS record is vibe for sure
