The last time we heard from Toronto rapper $heed, he was telling us all to stop “Kawalling”. His track of the same name became a street anthem late last year, but aside from a great Prince Latif collaboration, DollaSign Sheed has remained rather silent. In $heed's absence, fellow rapper Swagger Rite has been steadily dropping heat. The emcee has kept us all busy with an ever-growing Soundcloud page. Along with some melodic standouts, Rite recently gifted us with a tenacious Bill Russell tribute track.

Now, Swagger Rite has brought $heed out of hibernation. The two rappers make an emphatic statement, and connect on the brand new cut, “Ferragamo”. The booming single is our first taste of the mixtape, Ward 11, which is dropping later this month. The song melds menacing bars with a catchy hook, and is chock-full of OVO shoutouts and Kawalling references.

The new video for “Ferragamo” was helmed by Rodzilla, and is highlighted by luxury cars, mansions, and a particularly lavish club scene. Complex Canada has the exclusive premiere of “Ferragamo”, which you can stream above. Make sure you stick around until the end of the movie, because Swagger Rite and $heed show some love to their very waspy neighbours, and boy is it amazing.
