Courage, the beatsmith responsible for Ray BLK's breakout hit "My Hood", today unveils "We Had The Night"—the latest cut from his recently released Get Some Courage Vol. 1 EP. Featuring the smooth pop tones of Carmody, it's a light and funky song combining a soaring vocal with clashing instrumentation and vibrant, melodious keys. "Carmody was a singer I'd wanted to work with for a long time," says Courage over email. "We wrote this song after getting excited about all the upcoming summer festivals; we actually ended up bumping into each other in the early hours at Glastonbury, so I guess it came full circle."
