Premiere: Hear Kachina's "Flute Rydim" From The New Migration Comp

Don't click play expecting bursts of colour and upbeat vibes—there's a darkness to this one.

After five EPs on Affectionate Grooves (including the excellent Heisenberg EP), club killers Kachina are back with a contribution to sister label Migrations' new compilation, the No Drama EP. Adding flutes to the driving bounce of UK funky and soca was what stood out to us. Elsewhere, the EP includes efforts from label boss Rob Sparx, Wigz and K-Dubz and then the final, titular track from Kachina again. Don't click play expecting bursts of colour and upbeat vibes; there's a definite darkness to this one. Probably better suited to a gloriously sweaty, claustrophobic club than a carnival float, but that doesn't mean carnival floats can't get away with playing some harder beats every now and again.
