For his latest outing, "Urge" (due Aug. 19), Norwegian producer Hasta has linked up with two tried-and-tested electronic soul champions, Cal and the elusive R I T U A L who contribute some mesmerising vocal turns. Backing that with swirling, glossy synths and some subtle percussion to drive the almost psychedelic melodies forward. The combination of R I T U A L's deep, soulful croon and Cal's sweet, entrancing melodies was an inspired turn, made all the more impressive when you learn that Hasta is just 19 years old. Make sure you keep an eye on all three; we predict some impressive developments in all three artists' sounds over the coming years.
