Dank Of England Don Black The Ripper Shares Video For "Weed Is My Best Friend"

North London rapper, Dank Of England spokesperson and long-time marijuana advocate Black The Ripper released a new mixtape called Motivated Stoner this week. With no real surprises on the content of much of the release, the early standout is a flip of Jamaican dancehall king Popcaan's "Weed Is My Best Friend". Recruiting fellow north Londoners to assist, Black The Ripper taps Chip and Boy Better Know members Shorty and Frisco for a fun-loving ode to Mary Jane. Over a hazed-out, trippy visual, the guys rhyme over a light and bouncy dancehall riddim on the need to kill the stress and legalise the weed. Watch it up above.
