After announcing it just two days ago, 2 Chainz unleashed his new mixtape Daniel Son; Necklace Don Thursday night. The ten-track project boasts features from Drake and YFN Lucci, with Drake appearing on the song "Big Amount." The project also showcases production from TM-88, DJ Spinz, and more. "Big Amount" is 2 Chainz and Drake's first musical reunion since they put out their smash hit "No Lie" all the way back in 2012.
Daniel Son; Necklace Don is 2 Chainz third project of the year. He put out his Felt Like Cappin' mixtape in January, and followed it up with his Lil Wayne collaborative project ColleGrove in March. The latter spawned singles like "Gotta Lotta," "Rolls Royce Weather Everyday," and "Bounce." They've been making a number of live appearances as a team, including their performance at Chance the Rapper's upcoming "Magnificent Coloring Day" mini-festival in Chicago. 2 Chainz teamed up with Drake to reveal the existence of Daniel Son; Necklace Don on Tuesday through a hilarious text exchange that he posted to Instagram.
