It looks like Justin Bieber has been warned by Toronto Animal Services to not take any more cute Instagram pictures with lions while in their city.

A notice of violation obtained from animal protection group PETA features a list of public complaints received by the city's animal licensing agency after Bieber cuddled up to big cats for pictures in April and May.

If you remember, Bieber first posed with a chained Bengal tiger during his father's engagement party in Toronto and was later scolded by the city's animal services because the cat's owner is currently facing  five animal cruelty charges after being reportedly caught on video whipping a Siberian tiger in his care. In a letter to Bieber, manager Scooter Braun, and Island Def Jam Group, the city cited a municipal code that bans the keeping of wild animals such as lions, tigers and cougars in Toronto.

Bieber was caught cuddling up with lions once again ahead of his Purpose World Tour stop when he stopped by Alex Haditaghi's place and posed with some animals once again. "After being fed by Justin Bieber, Alex is one of JB's biggest fans! Justin really cares about the conservation of these beautiful animals! He is truly a class act and awesome guy!" Haditaghi captioned the picture on Instagram.

Previously, PETA released a statement condemning Bieber's pictures with big cats. "Exotic animals used for entertainment are usually torn away from their mothers at a young age, beaten into submission by trainers, and forced to live in cramped enclosures."

It's clear Bieber has a love for animals, and especially big cats, but it could be worth him taking a look at what the authorities and PETA are trying to tell him regarding the animals' treatment behind the scenes.
