There are a few different styles to be heard in enigmatic Dutch producer Doctr's new single "Tropique" (due Aug. 19 via Music For Dreams): disco, Italo, classic house, tropical, but ultimately this just good old fashioned summer-targeted house music. With a twinkly euro melody dancing over the top of punch '90s house drums and a catchy little piano melody, "Tropique" doesn't have to work hard to tick a lot of the right boxes. In fact, this one would even work well in a light and airy UKG mix. Regardless, it's yet another example of Doctr exercising his knack for an incredibly catchy house tune. Press play below.
