Post Malone is gearing up for the release of his debut album and stopped by Beats1 to chat with Zane Lowe about his upcoming project, including its title and who we can expect to see on it.

The full length is titled, Stoney, for his old nickname Stoney Maloney, and that it will drop sometime next month, according to Post. Many are speculating that it will drop August 26 since Post named his debut mixtape that he released in May after that specific date. On top of that news, Post's tourmate Justin Bieber who he has been opening for on the Purpose World Tour will also appear on one of the album's cuts, "Deja Vu." This definitely makes sense considering how close the two have seemingly gotten on the road and Bieber's not-so-subtle hint back in January that the two had something special coming.

As far as the album, it sounds like we can expect influences from all type of genres on the project. "I'm not worried about making a certain type of music or sticking to one type of music." Post recently went through the ringer after critics dubbed his sound as not being "hip-hop" and his noticeable absence from the XXL "Freshman" cover, but he confirmed that his new album will be a hip-hop album.

The conversation shifted to Post's musical influences including Kurt Cobain, Biggie, Ice T, the reason he doesn’t listen to too much hip-hop, and shouts out Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller and Kanye West for their early support. "He is honest," said Post of his time working with Kanye West.
