Several years in the making, Clams Casino's debut album 32 Levels is finally here. The cloud rap pioneer's project clocks in at 12 tracks, and includes a wide range of features. Lil B makes two appearances, while A$AP Rocky, Vince Staples, Kelela, and members of Future Islands and alt-J also register guest spots.

Casino has already released almost half the album as singles over the last few months. This includes the trippy, geometric video for "All Nite," which features Vince Staples. He talked about the project with Mic recently, noting that "the idea for this album started from working on a lot of other people's projects, producing behind the scenes and having a lot of things leftover that never ended up anywhere. It was really good stuff that I loved and the artist loved, but it didn't have a home. It would stick out too much, or whatever. It felt such a shame for it all to be wasted. So I figured I would just do my own thing and string them all together, connect all of them and put them out, so that's where the idea started."

Although 32 Levels is Clams Casino's first proper album, it was preceded by three popular mixtapes. Casino helped to pioneer the "cloud rap" genre, a woozy, ethereal subgenre of hip-hop that helped propel the likes of A$AP Rocky, post-Blue Slide Park Mac Miller, and others to fame. On 32 Levels, his creation is on full display.
