It was only a matter of time before Wiz Khalifa and Juicy J teamed up for an official project. Tonight, the duo delivers TGOD Mafia: Rude Awakening that’s produced entirely by 808 Mafia’s TM 88.
In March, Juicy J teased the project on Snapchat and Twitter that would later receive confirmation from TM 88 when he posted a potential tracklist on Instagram. From there, we got a few preview tracks such as “All Night” and “Green Suicide," and "You." The latter reportedly featured Liam Payne of One Direction, and it leaked online. Payne addressed the situation on Twitter, saying the demo wasn’t meant to be released in the public. "Guess I need to guard my projects better ... They don't even let you finish these days," he wrote.
On the final 16-track project, Project Pat is featured on “Breaking News.” The trio has worked together before on “KK” off Wiz’s 2014 effort Blacc Hollywood. You can check out Rude Awakening here.
