Wale refuses to let up when it comes to releasing new music recently and today is no exception. The rapper surprised fans with another heater appropriately titled "Back to the Sun."

The track finds Wale grooving over a balmy California beat courtesy of Kal Banx and DJ Money as he snaps some undeniably vibey bars about being back in his groove, which he clearly is. Wale also touches on the typical California girls that grab his attention but quickly covers his tracks by declaring, "100 thousand for jewels, but it's cool, I let my clothes cover/I got a good woman/And I never post it 'cause them vultures will probably hover." Clearly, Wale, knows the potential dangers Instagram poses to a relationship just like the rest of us.

The track offers another taste of Wale's new mixtape, Summer on Sunset, that is set to drop later today and follows the steady stream of music that Wale has been releasing lately. Last week, he delivered an incredible flip of CL Smooth's classic "They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y.)," that he titled "Reminisce." He also sampled Miguel's "Waves" to create his own summer slapper, "Her Wave" and kicked off promotion for the Maybach Music Group's Self Made 4 with "Make It Work." "Back to the Sun" is spitfire compared to the others, but it's definitely succeeded in getting us excited to hear what else Wale has for us on the tape.

Thurday night, Wale moonwalked and snapchatted his way through his performance of "P.Y.T." on The Tonight Show. The song is the first single off his forthcoming album, S.H.I.N.E., which is due out later this year. Between Summer on Sunset and S.H.I.N.E., there is no doubt Wale has been busy in the studio. Listen to "Back to the Sun" below and look for the rest of the tape to drop later today.
