If you're even the most casual of D&B fans, it's practically a certainty that you're familiar with Krust and Roni Size. Released on the duo's recently revived Full Cycle Records (seven years since it closed its doors), the Past & Present EP will feature two tracks from each artist: "Rock The Boat" and "Whistleblower" from Roni Size and "Kloaking Device" and Fracture's remix from Krust. The latter, which you can hear exclusively below, sees Exit Records affiliate Fracture transform the original into an off-kilter D&B banger with tumbling, club-ready beats and a siren-like drone that screeches unsettlingly through the track. As you might expect from a tune from Krust and Fracture, this "Kloaking Device" remix is of course an utter banger, but the two producers' combined inventiveness and hunger for a new sound make this the kind of rewarding lesson that'll keep surprising you with each new listen.
