London producer Bedlam is back once again, this time with new single "Ice Age" (out today on SBR). Where past effort "Let It Be" was a bouncy, charming piece of forward-thinking pop, "Ice Age" dials back the brightness and adds just a tinge of melancholy. The unnamed vocalist, one of many to collaborate as part of the Bedlam project, croons wistfully through the track, blending ice-cold R&B with immersive walls of low end. This cold atmosphere that fills the track mirrors perfectly the subject matter of "Ice Age", what the faceless, nameless producer calls "the feeling you get when the connection is lost in a relationship. The vocal catches the yearning and intense coldness of heartbreak." Stream the track below.
