Miguel dropped a new track Thursday night, and it's peak summertime vibes. "Come Through and Chill" is a laidback affair, with Miguel crooning over a soft, meandering beat. "Hello, stranger/It's been a minute since we last kicked it," he begins. "By the way, I just got in town and I won't let cumulus clouds all in the sky ruin my vibe/Usually, I don't do this often/But since we're cruel, it isn't an option/Due to unusual rain and thunder/Baby, I wonder; baby, I wonder." The whole track fits right into Miguel's discography, and is a perfect vibe for lazy summer afternoons. With the weather heating up, "Come Through and Chill" is sure to make the rounds on some kickback playlists.

It's been a fairly quiet year so far for Miguel, who dropped his third album, Wildheart, back in 2015. He did, however, give us the Rogue Waves EP in February. The project features a number of remixes to his Wildheart standout track "Waves." It included appearances from Travi$ Scott, Kacey Musgraves, Tame Impala, and RAC. He also hopped on one of the star-studded remixes to Chris Brown's "Back to Sleep" alongside August Alsina and Trey Songz, and appeared with Tyler, the Creator and A$AP Ferg during A$AP Rocky's Coachella set.

So far, there's no indication of whether "Come Through and Chill" is simply a one-off track, or a sign of a project to come in 2016. While you wait for more, you can stream Miguel's "Come Through and Chill" on SoundCloud below.
