Despite his recent health scare, Lil Wayne returns Thursday with a new song and video. The track, called "Skate It Off," is a love letter to Wayne's favorite hobby. "I just skated off on the plug," he sings in the chorus. The video is shot in what's presumably Wayne's personal skate park, and mostly features him and his friends skating around. Meechie and Young Quan do some funny dancing, and Wayne and the squad light up a little, but aside from that, it's pretty much straight skateboarding.

"Skate It Off" comes just a few days after Wayne's plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Nebraska due to his seizures. These were the first seizures Wayne has suffered from since 2013. Although many speculated the seizures were due to Wayne's renewed use of lean, he recently denied this. He's been known to suffer from epilepsy for some time now, and he claimed that a pharmacy in Milwaukee didn't have the correct medication. As such, he had been off his meds for several days and suffered from a seizure as a result. Thankfully, he seems to be OK and is already back on the road, set to perform Friday night in Kansas City, Mo.

Wayne's musical output has been notoriously sluggish recently as his ongoing legal saga with Birdman and Cash Money records continues. Thankfully, he was able to slip "Skate It Out" through the web of drama and lawsuits. You can check out the video above to see Wayne in his skateboarding element.
