SoundLab 2016 was conjured up from the idea to collaborate with local artists—producers, instrumentalists, vocalists—from around the world at eco-resort, The Dusun, affectionately dubbed "the jungle." Crafted by Similarobjects, Darren Ashley, Najwa Mahiaddin and Vandetta, "Buffalo Song" is a short, soothing and melodic piece, almost lullaby-like, which is interspersed with scattered electronic breaks for this exotic treat. We can't all drop the 9-5 grind and hide out in the jungle, but, thanks to SoundLab—if just for a moment—we can briefly escape through the music.
