Birdman has granted another radio personality an interview after walking off The Breakfast Club last week. This morning,Ebrosat down with Birdman to get an update on the topics we all want to know: Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V and why it hasn’t come out yet, if he still talks to Weezy, his beefs withRick Ross and Trick Daddy, and more.
During the conversation, Birdman talked about why he went to the Breakfast Club in the first place, and revealed that for a few years now, he's thought that Charlamagne has disrespected his name on the show. "I just wanted to go up there and see what's happening, put some respect on my name," Birdman said. On his current relationship with Ross and Trick Daddy, Birdman said that he's not sure why they have animosity toward him, but he didn't think that they should involve themselves in any issues he has with Wayne. To this point, Birdman says he hasn't talked to Ross or Trick Daddy since they opened up about his business practices. As far as Birdman's issues with Wayne, he said it's more of a misunderstanding right now, though he revealed they still talk. It was previously reported that Wayne and Birdman were on the way to ending their differences, though Wayne wasn't ready to drop his lawsuit against the Cash Money mogul.
Since Birdman gave the shortest interview with The Breakfast Club and became a meme on the Internet with “Put Some Respek on My Name,” he has been very selective of who he speaks with. He chopped it up with Angie Martinez again, touching on his upcoming documentaries, new music and more. Given that the Cash Money mogul is gearing up to release his final solo album Ms Gladys and Rich Gang’s The Lifestyle 2 this summer, don’t be surprised if he ends up doing more interviews closer to the release date. One can only hope he returns to The Breakfast Club for a proper sit-down with Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy and Angela Yee.
