On May 20, Belgian label Eskimo Recordings will release The Yellow Collection, a compilation celebrating the label's output and the rising stars who call the label their home, balancing more established artists like Du Tonc, This Soft Machine, Atella and Man Power with newer faces like L.A. duo Luxxury. The latter's contribution, "Breathe", is a bold introduction to the twosome and their funk-filled productions. Leading the charge with a disco bass line that snaps and kicks its way through the track, Luxxury add to that some dramatic bursts of sonic colour and a breathless vocal line. If Nile Rogers wanted it to do go down at a rave, he'd probably deploy something like this.
