4/20 has naturally been a big day for new music releases, and Mac Miller decided to get in on the fun. Today, he dropped the track "Headaches + Migraines" with Mass Appeal rapper Dave East. The song is part of a larger release, Treejay and CLOCKWORKDJ's new mixtape Smoke Til I'm Dead.
"Headaches + Migraines" might be a smoking song, but it's far from celebratory. Mac gets real about his demons, spitting rhymes about the side effects of partying and drug use. "Flow is so disgusting/Throwing up a whole bunch of blood on an empty stomach/I got headaches and migraines/Every single morning like my brain flipping sideways/Try to move my body but my skeleton vibrates/Whose car is that and how did it get in my driveway?" Dave East raps his way through the haze, referencing Rick James, Cheech & Chong, and Nas in his lowkey verse.
