Hiatus Kaiyote "Laputa (Taylor McFerrin Remix)" f/ Anderson Paak

Melbourne future-soul quartet Hiatus Kaiyote recently dropped Recalibrations Vol.1, an EP of reinterpretations of songs from their 2015 effort Choose Your Weapon, and this particular track was the laid-back lead single.

It features some slick, chime-laden production courtesy of Brooklyn, NY's Taylor McFerrin and a big-name feature from man of the moment Anderson. Paak, who sampled the group most recently on his album Malibu.

Silentjay & Jace XL "Everybody Here Wants You"

While a bit more down-tempo and overtly sensual than the rest of the work on their Sacrifice EP, "Everybody Here Wants You" is the perfect accompaniment to the effortlessly composed single "Rockabye", seeing the boys take off their cool and harness some straight-up honesty to woo their object of affection.

There's touches of Miguel, Maxwell and D'Angelo to this track, and while the combination of those three names on the page is sure enough to cause many to begin swooning almost immediately, it's well worth your curiosity if you're just looking for something to add to your late night playlist.

A.B. Original (Briggs & Trials) "2 Black 2 Strong"

Shepparton's Briggs is making quite a name for himself as a multimedia icon, but don't think he's not still one of the hardest local spitters out. For this brand new track, he's teamed with Trials from the Funkoars to form a new group called A.B. Original.

Pulling absolutely no punches with a handful of heavy-artillery tracks that sound like a modern day interpretation of some of Ice Cube's best work, these new joints are sure to shut down their debut live shows supporting Hilltop Hoods on their Restrung tour.
