Yung Lean Shares The Brutally Cold Video For "Miami Ultras"

A track as dark as "Miami Ultras" could only have looked like this.

Hot on the heels of his second album Warlord, Yung Lean is back with the second video from the album (following "Hoover" late last year), "Miami Ultras". The video, directed by Marcus Söderlund and Yung Lean, is an ambitious effort with more than a nod to the chilling atmosphere of Scandanavian film and TV. In it we see YL holed up in a cabin in the woods whilst, at various times, dressed in a floral dress, Stone Island regalia and a straightjacket. It's a pretty perplexing video to say the least, shrowded in darkness, symbolism and surrealism, but it keeps you hooked. Whatever's going on in this video, "Miami Ultras" sees Yung Lean at his most assertive, backed by a crushing hip-hop beat, punctuated only by the slightest of trance influences. Really, the video could only have looked like this.
