Young Thug is back with the visuals for "My People," a track off his recent project I'm Up. In the video, Thugger takes command of a very fashionably dressed militant group. After starting things off in an abandoned warehouse, he leads them in a march down the middle of the street, spreading multi-colored smoke while the group totes military-style rifles. Between the group's all-black attire, guns, and the black power fists they raise in unison, they seem to be an allusion to the Black Panthers. Thugger seems down for the cause, rapping "I put it down for my people/Ready to die for my people/We multiply with the people/Have a shootout for my people."

He also keeps his strange fashion choices going, rocking a skirt, an all-camo outfit and a stark red bandana. The song lives on his most recent release I'm Up, a project that was originally meant to be the third Slime Season mixtape. After soliciting names from his fans, he ended up with I'm Up, and dropped the project back at the beginning of February. As it turned out, however, he'll be releasing an entirely different mixtape under the Slime Season 3 name, although a release date for that has not yet been set.
