Between his big night at the Grammys last month, to surprising the world with an entirely new collection of songs earlier this week, Kendrick Lamar has led a pretty busy 2016. Apparently looking to unwind, he decided to take a little time off and recently booked a vacation to Jamaica. While in the birthplace of reggae music, Lamar did what most tourists do, he paid homage to the late great Bob Marley, hit up some of the country's finer outdoor spots, and met up with a few famous friends.
A Twitter user named Chan Chan Hobson posted a photo of himself and a group of other people laughing and carousing in the island country. In the caption, he revealed that he had no idea that the guy he had just climbed a waterfall with was one of the biggest music stars on the planet.

@Mesgleski dead ass is I looked up his fiancé and his body guards hahaha he was real cool but I'm shot and didn't realize it was him
Lamar also took the opportunity to finally meet up with his "Blacker The Berry" collaborator Assassin. Despite the blockbuster success of that song, the two men had never before met face-to-face.
Following that, Lamar found a little bit of time to visit with gold medal Olympian Usain Bolt and watched one of his training sessions.
