A college student named Kristen is going viral on Twitter after her mom struck up an unlikely friendship with Rich Homie Quan on a recent flight. Kristen posted a text exchange with her mom on Twitter, who messaged her daughter after engaging in conversation with her famous seat mate. "Rich Homie Quan is sitting next to me," she wrote, adding "My hitta my hitta" in reference to the censored version of his 2014 hit "My Ni**a."
After begging her mom for a picture, she eventually received a selfie of the pair directly from Quan's phone, who explained that her mom's phone wasn't working and added that she was "mad cool." Eventually, the entire exchange ended up on her Twitter account.
This even prompted another respones from Quan, who implored her to "stay in school" and reiterate how much the pair had hit it off.
The moral of the story here seems to be that Kristen's mom is a contender for coolest mom of the year award, and also that being a rap star doesn't prevent Rich Homie Quan from striking up friendships with middle-aged women.
