Premiere: Nicky Otter's "I Can't Really Explain (It)" Is A Sublime Roller

A multi-faceted take on house music.

There's really nothing quite like hearing a house track build and build and build before rewarding you with a euphoric, cataclysmic drop. "I Can't Really Explain (It), the new single from Nicky Otter (backed up by B-side "Sketch Original Show"), is one of the finest examples of this we've heard in a very long time. On the face of it, it's a rumbling, five-minute epic house track, but dig a little deeper and it becomes clear Otter is a keen follower of the most exciting sounds club music has to offer. Elements of UKG, trance and futuristic club styles can be heard bubbling through the mix, taking turns to collide joyously with the driving percussion that forms the backbone of "I Can't Really Explain (It)". The single comes out via GetMe! on March 18. Hear it exclusively below.
