It sounds like a Kesha and Zedd collaboration could possibly happen. In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, the German producer revealed Kesha's camp reached out to him about his offer to produce for the singer. "Her team actually hit us back confirming that I was serious about it, which is really cool," he said. "I'm obviously very serious about it, so maybe something will happen. Maybe there's something I can do. Maybe we can do some music. Nothing I can say right now, but it would be cool." Zedd's collaboration would not be the first time he has worked with a pop singer. He most notably teamed up with Selena Gomez in 2015 for his single "I Want You to Know."

Kesha's team reaching out to Zedd could be a sign that we may receive new music from the singer in the near future. As it stands, Kesha's music career is in limbo as she faces her ongoing legal battle with her producer Dr. Luke. Fans have rallied around the singer with a "Free Kesha" campaign asking Sony to release her from her contract. A lawyer for Sony issued a statement that Kesha's contract is with Luke's Kemosabe Records imprint and that it is not in the company's power to make that decision. A New York judge denied Kesha's preliminary injunction asking to be released from her current contract, and has reserved the right to rule on Kesha's allegations of sexual abuse at a later date.
