A huge group of Kesha supporters are currently rallying outside of Sony Music headquarters in New York City with signs and megaphones, chanting, "Free Kesha now." The attendees are also delivering petitions that together have 411,00 signatures urging the label to release Kesha from her contract with Dr. Luke and Kemosabe Records. On Twitter, fans are fighting just as hard by sending a surge of tweets to the label reading, "@SonyMusicGlobal: Look outside! We are delivering 411,000 reasons for you to #FreeKesha from @TheDoctorLuke" with a link to a current Sum of Us petition that lays out the protestors' requests. "Kesha is trapped," reads the petition. "Kesha has been placed in a seriously messed up predicament: work for her abuser, or say goodbye to her career. No artist should be bound to work under these conditions. Tell Sony: Free Kesha now and stop enforcing 'rape contracts.'"

The rally was organized online earlier this week to mobilize fans in another attempt to place public pressure on the label. Last month, supporters assembled outside Sony's office asking the company to "Free Kesha." Since that time, a Sony representative issued a statement that the label cannot sever ties between Kesha and Luke because the company is not a part of the singer's original 2005 contract with Luke's label. However, this week, reports hit the Internet that Sony will be dropping Luke from the label a year before his contract expires in 2017. Other reports noted that this move is only being discussed, but that nothing has been decided. There is still uncertainty on what happens to Kesha even if Sony drops Luke, but fans are still protesting in her name. Catch a glimpse of what's going down at the protest on Periscope and through the clips below.
