Premiere: Barney Artist Wants You To Hold Him "Down"

With a new project, Painting Sounds, scheduled for release at the end of next month, Barney Artist unveils a taste of what he's got in store with the visuals for his latest cut "Down". Posted amongst the east London backdrop he calls home, Barney kicks complex rhymes with playful ease over a neat drum pattern and smooth chorus. "'Down' is about the doubts, struggles, and insecurities I faced and how I just need someone to encourage me every now and then. For the video, I really wanted to show people where I chill everyday, so shout out to my local corner shop." We have a sneaky suspicion Barney may end up at much greater heights than the local corner shop in a few years. Watch the video above.
