Experimentalist Dean Blunt has released a video for two tracks under his Babyfather alias, "Shook / Motivation". This makes me proud to be British echoes Blunt over a tranquil string solo and what sounds like a nos cannister filling up a balloon. The visual opens up in a smoked-out room, with Blunt donning the mic amidst sirens and shouts of "Fuck trident! Fuck MI5! Fuck MI6!" His brash bars and cutting colloquialisms seem to be as strong as ever, and the long-term pioneer of the dying art of Great-British-piss-taking is of course releasing his Babyfather project-album, BBF: Hosted by DJ Escrow, on April Fool's Day.
