Asa & Sorrow have hit an admirable stride lately, teasing out hit after hit from their massive Knights Of Ren EP last month. Today we've got another cut from the release (though it only appears on the digital version); a new collaboration with Trimbal. "Up To Speed" sees the duo return to Joker's Kapsize imprint after their Legendary EP back in 2014. As ever, the dark and gloomy atmospherics come right to the fore by way of the clipped strings and glowering low-end. As soon as Trim's rapid fire bars burst out over the stop-start rhythm, it becomes pretty clear that Asa & Sorrow are just at home with an MC in the booth as they are plugging away at rolling instrumentals.
