Just a year after her triumphant return to the spotlight at Super Bowl XLIX, Missy Elliott has shared a new sports-centric banger. Titled "Pep Rally," the song was dropped with absolutely no fan fare last night to the rapper's YouTube page. The latest from Missy Misdemeanor is entirely danceable and features Elliott directing a number of different dance moves from the standard, "left foot / right foot," to the more intricate, "rock it, now stop it, now go bend over touch your toes / get it, now get, let your bottom scrape the floor."

"Pep Rally" is just the latest move in Elliott's much-heralded comeback. Over the last year she's been working hand in hand with mega producers Pharrell Williams and Timbaland having already unleashed the single, "WTF (Where They From)" in advance of what is hopefully a full album release in the not-too-distant future.

Check out the new song above, and a commercial for Amazon Echo featuring Alec Baldwin and Missy below.
