This sounds like an olive branch.

In a recent interview with The New York Times, Katy Perry revealed she invited Taylor Swift to her upcoming Pre-Grammys party being sponsored by Spotify. She also invited Adele, who along with Swift, famously kept their most recent albums off the streaming service. "It’s just up to their schedules," she revealed. If you don't remember, Katy took a moment to give her opinion during Taylor's famous beef with Nicki Minaj last summer. Most recently, Taylor tried to make us all believe that her revenge anthem "Bad Blood" was not in fact about Katy, as it had been previously understood.

Along with Swift and Adele, Perry also invited a number of artists to the event. "It’s a mixture of new and familiar artists, a combination of the past two years’ Grammy nominees and also [acts] from the Spotify Discover playlist," she said. "It’s Kacey Musgraves, Karen O, Miguel, Tove Lo, Shirley Manson, Max Martin. Then up-and-coming songwriters like Blood Pop and Bonnie McKee all under the same roof as Diane Warren. In some ways, I’m trying to start the Met Ball of music." The one important qualification? "You have to be a creator — it’s artists, producers and songwriters," she explained. Time will tell if Taylor will accept the invitation.
