Update 11:33PM: According to TMZ, Kanye West ran the line by Taylor Swift before putting it on the album. According to sources close to Taylor, West called her personally to get the okay ahead of time. They also say she gets the joke and is cool with the lyrics. In a statement from Taylor's rep, they said that Taylor never knew the actual lyric on the song, and that she reportedly warned Kanye about releasing something with such a heavy misogynistic message. Read the full statement below.

In another addition to the storied relationship between Kanye West and Taylor Swift, we find new lines about Taylor on West's new album, The Life of Pablo. The lyrics in question are part of Kanye's Hudson Mohawke-produced track, "Famous," featuring Rihanna, Swizz Beats, and Sister Nancy, in which West says, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/Why? I made that bitch famous."

Kanye and Taylor have been on good terms for years now, after being spotted having dinner together in New York and Swift telling Vanity Fair straight up that she and West have become friends again. Just months ago, in September of 2015, Kanye sent Taylor flowers after the VMAs; a signal to many fans that their beef was officially over. At that year's awards show, Taylor presented 'Ye with the MTV VMA Video Vanguard Award, and the flowers were speculated to be a thank you gift. This exchange came six years after the infamous stage-crashing incident at the 2009 VMAs.

It seems that Taylor's brother, Austin Swift, has made a statement via Instagram after his sister was name-dropped. He films himself taking a pair of Yeezy Boost 350s straight to the trash can in what fans assume is an act of solidarity for his sister. The caption for the video reads, "Getting a head start on some spring cleaning. Here we go again." There's no word yet from Taylor Swift on how she feels about her mention on The Life of Pablo, but it's pretty clear that her bro Austin is not too happy about it. Check out the video below.
