Chicago producer Stefan Ponce shares an artful remix of Kanye West's The Life Of Pablo track “I Love Kanye." He injects the original with a soulful sample from the Dramatics' "I Dedicate My Life To You," and revitalizes the standout track into an emotional anthem that anyone can get behind.
If Ponce's name sounds familiar, it's probably because he was nominated for two Grammys last year. He also began his career at the same media arts literacy organization that mentored fellow Chicagoans Vic Mensa and Chance the Rapper, rappers he has worked with in the past. He composed Vic's "Down on My Luck" and produced the Acid Rap banger "Good Ass Intro" for Chance. Thanks to Ashani Allick, there's now an awesome video featuring vintage footage of Kanye matched up to the remix.
