Over the weekend, Kanye West announced that his next album, which is supposedly coming this summer, is currently titled Turbo Grafx 16. As with The Life of Pablo, there's a good chance that the title could change from now until the album comes out, but from the looks of Ibn Jasper's Instagram post late last night, work on the project has already started. In the photo that Jasper shared, Kanye, Mike Dean, Kid Cudi, and Plain Pat are all in the studio huddled around computers hard at work.
Jasper added to the excitement in the caption when he wrote, "Turbo GRAFX 16 Day 1," which indicates that work is underway for the new album. It's currently unclear how much Kanye has recorded for this new project, or if he's starting everything from scratch this time around. In recent weeks, he's revealed that he has music with Drake, Future, Kendrick Lamar, and Young Thug in the vault, and even played a new song at Yo Gotti's listening party last week.
Despite the fact that he's teased the new music, there's no indication when any of it could drop, as Kanye only said that he's dropping another new album this summer. Of course, Cudi, Dean, and Plain Pat were all involved in the making of The Life of Pablo, and it's a solid sign that he's already back in the studio with them. As with anything with Kanye, you never really know what to expect and anything can change at anytime. Check out the photo below.
