Four Tet Has Remixed Jamie xx's "Seesaw"

The Text Records boss delivers a streamlined club version.

Last year, Jamie xx released his much-discussed debut solo album, In Colour, which featured a handful of collaborations with the likes of Young Thug, Popcaan, and a couple of tracks with xx bandmate Romy. One of those Romy collaborations, "Seesaw", has just been reworked by like-minded producer Four Tet. It's a bit more direct than the original and, as "club version" suggests, definitely more suited to the dancefloor than the original. Naturally, the combined efforts of two gifted producers on a very similar wavelength makes for quite a listen. Enjoy it below and let's all hope it sees a full and proper release, perhaps with some other versions of In Colour tracks.
