Kanye West made a lot of headlines yesterday with his latest lengthy Twitter rant, during which he revealed he is $58 million in personal debt and begged Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg for $1 billion to fund his "world changing ideas." Thanks to the power of the internet, everyone's favorite fugitive Edward Snowden got wind of Mr. West's pleas and decided to weigh in. With one simple phrase, Snowden totally clowned both West and Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush. Quoting Kanye's tweet, Snowden simply added "please clap."

This of course references Bush's infamous moment on the campaign trail in New Hampshire, where he begged a non-participatory audience to "please clap" for him, to very awkward effect. You can relive that painfully awkward clip below.

West's album The Life of Pablo premiered in an unfinished version early yesterday on Tidal. You can stream it here.
