The 2016 Grammys are stacked with a ton of performers: Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Skrillex, Justin Bieber, Rihanna and many more have been announced in the last few weeks. Who’s missing from the list? It’s Drake, however, he just confirmed that he won’t be appearing this year.

I am not performing at the Grammy Awards...but hey it's the thought that counts.

Drake is referring to the advertisement that aired during Super Bowl 50. It listed him as one of the performers, but that's apparently not true.

Drizzy is nominated for four Grammys, which makes it seems strange that he’s not performing his new single “Summer Sixteen,”“Hotline Bling” or a track off If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late. He’s up to possibly win Best Rap Performance (“Back to Back”), Best Rap/Sung Collaboration (“Only”), Best Rap Song (“Energy”) and Best Rap Album (If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late).
