Now that NBA All-Star weekend in Toronto is in the rear view, there's nothing between Drake and April, which is when his long-awaited new album, Views From the 6, is slated to drop. While we currently don't know much about the album, Drake may have just sent out a pretty big hint about the project on Twitter, which he rarely even uses these days. "And on the off chance that Metro Boomin doesn't trust you...well..," Drake wrote.
Of course, this is Metro's new producer tag, which was recently heard on Kanye West's The Life of Pablo album. Does this mean that Drake and Metro are currently cooking up something for the album? As of this past weekend, Metro was up in Toronto for the All-Star festivities, but it's unclear if he's still there at the moment. Metro and Drake have connected in the past, notably on What a Time to be Alive with Future, so it would make total sense that they linked once again on Views.
Drake and the OVO crew are pretty mysterious when album time comes around, but if we know anything about past rollouts, then we know that Drake's tweet today wasn't done by accident. Though Drake's next OVO Sound Radio episode isn't for another two weeks, we're sure there's about to be plenty of speculation leading up to it, especially if Drake keeps sending out these cryptic tweets.
