It seems Deftones can't resist the opportunity to make a joke at Kanye West's expense following the cultural event that was Ye's Twitter last week. Announcing their new album Gore, the rock band writes in an official statement, "Out of respect for Pac, Big, Stevie, Michael, Hendrix, Gore is ONE of the greatest albums — not the greatest, just one of." Of course, the comment calls back Kanye's recent series of tweets where he called his upcoming album "the best album of all time." If you're not familiar, Deftones returned Thursday with their first single, "Prayers/Triangles," on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show off their first album in four years.
